John Vivash
John Vivash is the President & CEO of Tesseract Financial Inc. and a Director of Cangene Corporation, as well as a member of the Foundation Board Governing Council of Sunnybrook Hospital, and the President's Circle at the University of Toronto. The former President and Chief Executive Officer of Manulife Securities International Ltd. and former President of and Chief Executive Officer of CIBC Securities Inc, he has served as a Director of more than 30 publicly and privately owned Corporations headquartered in Canada, the United States, Bermuda and Europe. Mr. Vivash is an important supporter of adult education and the arts, and in 2009 was recognized at OCAD for his significant contributions with an Honourary Alumni Designation by the OCAD Alumni Association. The University of Toronto honoured Mr. Vivash with their Arbor Award in 2008, in appreciation of his volunteerism and support of the university. Mr. Vivash has served as the OCAD Foundation Board Chair since 2008.
