Catherine (Kiki) Delaney installed as Chancellor, awarded
Honorary Doctorate at Spring Convocation

Photo: Christina Gapic.OCAD University formally installed Catherine (Kiki) Delaney to the position of Chancellor at last week's Spring Convocation at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, where the university celebrated the graduation of more than 550 of its students. Delaney was also recognized with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree for her contributions to the institution over the past year, since her appointment as Chancellor.
Delaney is President of C.A. Delaney Capital Management Ltd., an investment counselling firm providing independent investment management services to institutional and private clients. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Hospital for Sick Children. She is co-chair of SmART Women for the Art Gallery of Ontario, a member of the Leadership Council of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, and co-chair of the Endowment Campaign of the Canadian Women's Foundation. In 2011, she was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba. In 2006, she was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada.
