slipping behind in wireless revolution
(Toronto—May 14, 2009) The Mobile Experience Innovation Centre (MEIC) will release a new white paper on Ontario’s mobile and wireless sector, one of the only sectors poised for growth in the current recession. Innovation and Insight: Mapping Ontario’s Mobile Industry suggests that Ontario could and should be a leader in the global mobile and wireless sector — but that key challenges must be overcome for the province to realize its potential.

MEIC Chair and OCAD President Sara Diamond will launch the white paper with Ray Newal, one of the paper’s principal authors and founder of Jigsee Inc., and Diane Williamson, Director of Interactive Business Development at marblemedia.
