Karen Justl illustrates cover of Herizons magazine

Work by Continuing Studies Instructor Karen Justl is featured on the cover and in the lead story, “Why Cougars Deserve Respect,” in the latest Herizons magazine, a quarterly Canadian feminist publication. The story, written by Jeanie Keogh, explores perceptions and stereotypes surrounding unions between older women and younger men.

Justl is a graduate of OCAD U’s The Interdisciplinary Master’s in Art, Media & Design program. Her illustrations have also been appeared in Applied Arts, subTerrain Magazine, Chesterfield, Kiss Machine, Pilot Project and Crow's Toes.
