AODA ONLINE TRAINING MODULE
Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) is now law. The Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCAD U) is legally mandated to provide AODA Customer Service information to all employees (Administrative Staff, Full Time and Sessional Faculty, Technicians, Academic Counselors, Academic Administrators, Teaching Assistants, Class Assistants, Student Monitors and Models, Volunteers, Third parties/Contractors). Getting Started
The Council for Ontario Universities (COU) has approved the below AODA online modules. If any OCAD U employee has received AODA training elsewhere, please email accessibility@ocadu.ca and provide your name, the name of the institution, a description of the information session and the date of your participation.
Accessing the 1 hour AODA Online Learning Module:
Step 1: Click on the following link http://www.ocadu.ca/accessibility/ascs/ to begin the learning modules
Step 2: Click on the learning modules that you would prefer (Interactive version or Accessible version)
Step 3: Follow the instructions provided on the screen to complete the modules
Step 4: When you have completed the online learning modules, send an email to accessibility@ocadu.ca with your name, department/faculty, and the completion date. By sending an email, you are agreeing that you have completed and understood the AODA Customer Service Standards content.
